Hello my dears
I hope you all haven't been too worried or disspointed in me. I feel like I must explain what has been going on.
If you follow my Facebook page, you may have seen a explanation post awhile back. Basically I have been struggling with a number of things lately that has been keeping me from blogging and posting. My husband and I have been struggling with finances and trying to make ends meet. It is so very frustrating and crushing to know that you may not be able to pay the electric bill one month.
I have also mentio0ned on my page, and I am not ashamed of it in the least, I have struggled with depression and bipolar for about 12 years now, and the season really takes a toll on me. I have been working with my doctor to find a balance and get myself back in a good place, but at the moment is a real struggle to get through the day. And posting on the blog seems more and more like an assignment or a chore instead of something I used to enjoy.
I still paint my nails regularly, though usually do not go all out with the art portion of it. I still love the world of polish and I still constantly peruse Facebook to see the latest that you all have to offer. You all do such beautiful work and I love looking at it. I even still purchase the occassional bottle and you may still see me stalking your pages and liking or commenting on your posts.
But for the time being, I need to take a break. I am not sure how long this break may be. Maybe a few weeks, maybe forever. I need to focus on me and my health as well as our financial situation and school right now. I know you all will understand. You have been such wonderful followers and you have made it so much fun. I hope you don't go anywhere, just in case I come back.
Much love,
Kari

12 DOC Challenge: Day 5
Hey Ladies!
So I am 2 days late on this one. I am soooo sorry!! I promise, in 2 weeks, when this semester is over and life calms down, I will be back on track...Thank you so much for being patient with me.
Anyway, the challenge for Friday was Snowman. Here is mine:
Look at my poor little nubbin of a ring finger nail. It got destroyed and I had to trim them all down to compensate :(
I used China Glaze Water You Waiting For from their Cirque du Solei collection for the base. GORGEOUS!!! Then I sponged and dotted on Snow Me White for the snow. And also used it for the snowman.
And here are the ladies who actually posted theirs on time:

12DOC Challenge: Day 4
Hello dears!
I am a day late on my day 4 nails. I was busy all day yesterday *trying* to do homework, but ultimately failing. Now I get to do exactly the same thing today.
Anyway, day 4 is Christmas Lights. I had some ideas in my head, a Pin I found and pinned on Pinterest almost a year ago, but that didn't pan out. This is what I came up with.

China Glaze: Champagne Kisses
Hello dears!
O my goodness I am blown away with the polish I am wearing right now. It is China Glaze Champagne Kisses and I think it is part of their holiday line. It is a gorgeous gold-bronze glitter-bomb with scattered holo glitters.
Take a look and prepare to have your breath taken away.
Beautiful isn't it? This is three coats alone.
This polish has completely blown me away. Have you ever had a polish take your breath away?

12DOC Challenge: Day 3
Today is day 3 of the Christmas challenge.
Christmas movie...I struggled with this one for so long and I nearly just gave up and thought I was going to skip it.
Then Elf came on TV and I saw his hilarious green and yellow outfit he wears and I had my inspiration!
So incredibly simple, but I am just happy I was able to do this one. I used Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow and Ulta Limelight.
Here are the other bloggers also doing the challenge.

12DOC Challenge: Day 2
Hello dears! I hope you checked out my giveaway going on in the previous post.
It is day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas challenge. Snowflakes!
I am so thrilled with this mani! I think it is my favorite one I have ever done. It turned out so wonderfully that people have asked if it was the stickers. (please dont think I am bragging. I am just really proud).
I used Orly Snowcone for the base and then Sinful Colors Snow Me White and a nameless stamping plate to stamp on the snowflakes.
I normally never ever show off my thumb but I am just so pleased :) Even my right hand turned out beautifully.
