This is Halloween nail Challenge: Water Marble

Hey guys!

Ok, so I am going to prewarn you about the quality of my nail art today. I did this yesterday afternoon and have since had 2 shifts at work before I took photos. I am also trying to figure out the best way to use my new lightbox so my photos are less than spectacular.

Today was the second day of the "This Is Halloween" nail art challenge and that means water marble.

I have only attempted water marble one time and on only one nail. This process took me close to 2 hours and by the time I was done, I was ready to throw my polish and supplies against a wall. Lol.

I got pretty frustrated and kept messing up my middle finger, so I eventually just painted it and coated it with glitter (Rainbow Polish Monarch)

I am really sorry guys for the shotty quality. I think it will be quite awhile before I try this again.

I used Ulta Son Of A Gun, China Glaze Liquid Leather, and Sinful Colors Snow Me White.

  1. it's pretty good, especially for your second attempt ever. i know i had to do it a bunch of times before i got it down pat.

  2. Wow your second attempt ever? I think it looks awesome :) I love the thin black and white lines on your ring finger they look so cool! I think they came out really good :)

  3. I looove it! Especially those colors together.

  4. I think you did an amazing job! It's definitely a technique that takes a lot of practice. I know from experience that it's frustrating but don't give up, I really like how they came out :)

  5. Don't be sorry about the quality! I think you did a great job. I've been afraid to try water marbling.

  6. I think it turned out well!!! I love the water marbling fingers!!! Hopefully things will be better next time... they were for me when it came to water marbling :)
